School group workshops

School group workshops – Close up: experiencing art, building insight

We offer workshops for your school group in conjunction with all our exhibitions. Age-appropriate formats help students draw connections between art and their own everyday lives and experience art as something that speaks to them personally. The interactive tour of the exhibition equips them with knowledge, includes group assignments, and provides plenty of room for questions. It is followed by a creative segment in which the students delve deeper into the themes touched on during the tour and translate their ideas and reflections into art projects. The focus of our shared engagement with art is on articulating individual perspectives on the works and personal impressions. We will be happy to work with you to adapt a workshop to students’ individual needs and your curriculum.
